Artists Statement

Alluring tree patterns, eucalypts, secret coves, and quiet waterways of the Mid and North Coast of NSW inform Kelly Finley's  creative  practice.

 Gathering rich visual information from Australian bushlands and beaches Kelly is able to develop her ideas, and  impressions into multilayered paintings that explore and celebrate colour in the Australian landscape.

Kellys career in Floristry greatly influences her practice where colourful flowers emerge within her landscape paintings.
